In this ceramic installation, Beatriz Albuquerque explores the poems of Langston Hughes, who mention "dreams as food". Hughes also worked as a cook and a busboy when he was in NY for 1 year to attend Columbia University. Part of his NY poems are the departure for these ceramic sculptures by Beatriz Albuquerque, where she deconstruct and rethink Hughes's poems both visually and physically.
